I would like to invite you to join me on a trip to Shanghai, China, for the opening of the fifth edition of ACE! Australian Comics Exhibition. ACE! is a series of exhibitions I’ve been organising for some time, with the main goal of providing exposure opportunities for Australia’s incredibly talented comic artists. So far, editions of ACE! have taken place in Poland, Germany, Thailand, and China (Chengdu), making it the largest showcase of Australian comic art overseas. In this episode, together with Ben Mitchell, we take you behind the scenes of organising an art show and attend the formal opening. We also take a look at the creative comic workshops hosted by Ben. As always, I take you on a tour around the city, visiting local galleries and tourist-worthy locations. I hope you enjoy this video, which is a bit more vlog-style than usual.
