Illustrated City TOKYO

Welcome to the third season of Illustrated City. I’m very excited to invite you on a trip to Tokyo, where we’ll meet professional illustrator Keiji Yano. We’ll visit his home studio in Tokorozawa and take a closer look at some of his designs for Pokémon cards, books, and magazines. We’ll then take a train to Shinjuku, where we’ll stop by Freshness Burger to grab something for brunch.

We are continuing our walk around Shinjuku, starting with a picnic at Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden, where I finally find a satisfactory amount of cherry blossom. With our batteries recharged, we walk to the biggest art supply store in Tokyo, with five floors of traditional art and craft materials. After meeting Godzilla at Marui Annex, we need to finish our video on the street, talking about Keiji's Pokémon cards... why on the street, you may ask? Press play and find out!
